Ushers And Greeters
One great way to serve the Lord with gladness is by offering your time to serve as either an usher, a greeter, or both. Meeting people, making them feel welcome and at home, and helping them to find their way around the church are all a part of this important ministry. Ol' Sew 'n Sow's - Using their gift of loving to sew, to show the love of Jesus. This group meets each Monday from 10:00 am until around 4:00 pm. This is really a relaxed group, with beginners to experienced quilters. All are welcome who want to learn to sew. This started as a ministry making baby quilts for CareNet Pregnancy Resource Center, lap quilts for Seniors and our military, dresses for Africa and school supply bags. But, the greatest gain is the great fellowship shared with each other. The laughter and sharing is abundant! Altar Guild These women serve their Lord and their church by preparing and caring for our sanctuary in ways too numerous to list.
