Children's Sunday School

Simply Loved, Nursery - Fourth Grade Students (classrooms) Let's get back to the heart of what matters most! Simply help your kids love Jesus and each other. Every activity, song, and visual in Simply Loved is designed to help kids remember each lesson long after their children’s ministry years. Simply Loved curriculum was created with the truth found in 1 John 4:7 in mind which says, 'Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.'
Enduring Faith Bible Curriculum - Fifth - Eighth Grade Students (classrooms) Youth learn how to defend their faith and become prepared to state what they believe about the Bible and why. Thoughtful class discussions get students brainstorming about how to explain their faith to others, and bonus activities get students up and moving around, helping them practice teamwork skills as they work with other students.
CHILDREN'S MIDWEEK MUSIC (3rd through 8th grade) Children/Youth Music is held on Wednesday evenings in the Music Room from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to allow time for any student/family wishing to participate prior to Confirmation classes.

CONFIRMATION & CATECHESIS CLASSES:

Grade 5 meets at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings for Catechesis Training with Dcs. Krahn in the Grade 5 classroom near the church library.
Grades 6-7 meets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings with Pastor Hesse in the Youth Room.
Grade 8 meets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings with DCE Josh McNamara in the Conference Room.

(Children/Youth Music is held on Wednesday evenings in the Music Room from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to allow time for any student/family wishing to participate.) If you have any questions, please see Pastor Hesse.

UPCOMING SUNDAY SCHOOL EVENTS:
June 8-11: VBS:

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR VBS IS OPEN! Click here to register your child(ren) age 3 (must be potty-trained) through those who have completed 5th Grade to attend Vacation Bible School. Volunteer opportunities will be provided soon. Please make plans to join us for VBS June 8-11, with a family meal served nightly.
VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP SHEETS are available in the church foyer. Please stop by and sign-up to help us with this HUGE community outreach event!
NIGHTLY MEALS: This year we are sharing the opportunity with other members outside of the Fellowship Committee to prepare and serve our family meal each evening. If your family or group would like to provide a meal, please select a date and sign-up today. If you have any questions about this, please see DCE Josh or Angel Breton.

BIBLE BUCKS: Reminder, the Bible Bucks Store is open each Sunday from 9:15 am to 9:25 am.

SHUT-IN GREETING CARD KITS- The Children’s Ministry has been partnering with the Elders to provide homemade greeting cards for our shut-ins. ADULTS and children can stop by the Sunday School office to get a take-home greeting card kit (there is no age limit on who can complete a kit). Simply use the enclosed supplies and idea sheet to create as many greeting cards as you want. Please return the kit when you are done (children earn $1.00 Bible Buck for each specially made greeting card). If you have a kit at home that you have not finished, please complete and return it as soon as possible so that it can be restocked. If you are unable to complete the kit, you are welcome to return it and someone else can complete it. If you have any questions, please stop by the Sunday School office.
